How do I hide my personal events from other staff?
Ubookr is very flexible about the calendars you add, enabling the ability to use multiple calendars to "block out" your unavailable time. But this can mean that users want to limit access to their personal information with concerns about privacy.
If you would like to include a calendar to mark time as unavailable, but you wish to keep the details of your calendar private from your colleagues, and employers, you can hide non-ubookr event details from you team in your settings.
To make these event details private:
- navigate to My Account > Preferences
- Select I dont want other staff to be able to see my non-ubookr calendar events

Your calendar will now show with only the following information available to your team:
- the date and time of the events
- an extra warning when the event is not set in your Google calendar as "busy" which means that you could still be booked for this time.

Subcontractors
Ubookr fully supports subcontractors to be able to work for multiple companies using Ubookr.
For example you might have your own company using Ubookr and also subcontract to a larger organisation also using Ubookr. In this situation, you would likely not want the other company to see detail of your business's bookings. The above setting will ensure your business's privacy.
If this is you, please contact us on support @ubookr.com and we can ensure that you get the most out of this.
